summer fiddling

my week in charlotte has been the best one of the past few years. it's consisted of reconnecting with old friends and spending time with the v kids. there's also been some reflection time, as these last fews days before the beginning of a semester tend to have.

and i made an awesome playlist.

so goodbye DC and new friends, I'm back to Charlotte this Saturday.

and now i know just where i stand...

being at the silversun pickups show felt like I traveled back in time to middle school days with brent kyle jimi and mikey, i guess adam too. basically, it was awesome and grundgey and beautiful and i rocked out. I was alone this time, but it didn't feel like i was, maybe just because of the comforting nostalgia going through my head.

also, i hope jeff made it to chicago in one piece!
